3D Printing is the process of building physical objects laying down one layer of material at a time. Just as an inkjet printer does with ink, so does a 3D Printer with plastics, compounds and other printable materials.

The 3D printing movement is now fully entrenched within small businesses needing to “rapid prototype” and is moving steadily in public consciousness, schools and homes as the tech become more affordable and user friendly.

Soon everyone will know someone with a 3D Printer and just like the take up of home computers in the late 90’s not so far into the future having a 3D Printer at home will become the norm rather than the exception.
